I advise downloading DVD Decrypter (its free but u have to look for it) and using it to decrypt your files and then compress them using this program.

This software does not have a decrypter so many movies you try will not work due to copy protection. I was ably to compress a 6 gig movie into 2 gig's. You are able to compress a DVD up to 70% from its original size. This Software is a great compression tool.
